Description

This viral honey butter toast dessert is a sweet, buttery, and crispy treat featuring thick toast slathered with a golden honey butter glaze, baked to perfection. A delightful fusion of crunch and sweetness, it’s perfect as a quick dessert or indulgent snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 thick slices of brioche or milk bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Vanilla ice cream, for topping (optional)
  • Fresh fruits or nuts, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, honey, sugar, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  3. Score a grid pattern on the surface of the bread slices without cutting all the way through.
  4. Generously spread the honey butter mixture over the top and into the cuts of each slice.
  5. Place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  8. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish with fresh fruits or nuts if desired. Serve immediately.
