- 2 thick slices of brioche or milk bread
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
- Vanilla ice cream, for topping (optional)
- Fresh fruits or nuts, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, honey, sugar, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Score a grid pattern on the surface of the bread slices without cutting all the way through.
- Generously spread the honey butter mixture over the top and into the cuts of each slice.
- Place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish with fresh fruits or nuts if desired. Serve immediately.
