- 3–4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Beat the softened butter on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
- Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Increase the speed to medium and beat for 2–3 more minutes until fluffy.
- Add milk or heavy cream 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Use immediately or store for later use.

- Add food coloring for themed decorations.
- Mix in cocoa powder for a chocolate version.
- Try almond, lemon, or peppermint extract for a flavor twist.
