A refreshing and vibrant tropical fruit salad featuring a medley of juicy, exotic fruits perfect for a healthy snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup mango cubes
- 1 cup papaya cubes
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup strawberries, halved
- 1/2 cup orange segments
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and prepare all the fruits as needed (peel, slice, cube).
- In a large bowl, combine the pineapple, mango, papaya, banana, kiwi, strawberries, and orange segments.
- In a small bowl, mix the lime juice and honey (if using) until well combined.
- Pour the lime-honey mixture over the fruit and gently toss to coat.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves just before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm fruits to avoid mushiness.
- You can add other tropical fruits like dragon fruit or starfruit.
- For a vegan version, skip the honey or use maple syrup.
