Cookie Dough:

- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Assembly:
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add heat-treated flour and salt, stirring until fully combined.
- Divide dough in half and press one half evenly into a parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cookie dough, pressing gently to create an even layer.
- Remove from the freezer, lift out using parchment paper, and cut into squares or rectangles to serve.
Mix in milk and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Spread softened ice cream evenly over the dough.
Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Notes
- Heat-treat flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5–6 minutes, then let cool completely before using.
