  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom and sides of the pie dish. Bake for 8 minutes, then cool.

  6. Top with whipped cream or whipped topping. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
