- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry, then add to the skillet.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve hot over rice or with steamed vegetables.
