- 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons fresh strawberry puree or 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract (optional, for extra flavor in the glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until a thick batter forms—do not overmix.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. Do not overbake for fudgy brownies.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add strawberry puree or extract if you’d like extra flavor.
- Drizzle or spread the glaze over the cooled brownies, then let it set before slicing.
Notes
- Top with fresh sliced strawberries before serving for extra freshness.
- Fold in white chocolate chips or chopped strawberries for added texture.
