Description

These thick, juicy Steakhouse Burgers are loaded with savory seasoning, melty cheddar, and classic toppings, delivering bold steakhouse flavor right from your grill or skillet.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (preferably 80/20 blend)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for toasting buns)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • Pickle slices
  • Condiments of choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Do not overmix.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into thick patties with a small indentation in the center of each.
  4. Grill or sear the patties for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Add cheddar slices during the last minute to melt.
  5. While burgers cook, lightly butter the buns and toast until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
