Description

Crispy cheese rounds topped with creamy spinach dip, making for a low-carb, savory snack or appetizer that’s full of flavor.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine cheddar and mozzarella cheeses in a bowl.
  3. Spoon small mounds (about 1 tablespoon) of the cheese mixture onto the baking sheet, spaced apart. Flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until edges are golden and crispy. Let cool to firm up.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, spinach, sour cream, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Once cheese crisps are cooled, top each with a small dollop of spinach dip.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for a few minutes for firmer dip texture.

Notes

  • Ensure spinach is fully drained to prevent soggy dip.
  • Use pre-shredded cheese for convenience, but freshly shredded cheese melts better.
  • These are best served fresh, but you can refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
