Description

A bold and refreshing cocktail that blends the sweetness of pineapple with jalapeño heat and a tangy lime twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 23 jalapeño slices (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup or simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Tajín or chili-lime seasoning (for rimming the glass)
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • Pineapple slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rim the edge of your glass with a lime wedge and dip it into tajín or chili-lime seasoning.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle a few jalapeño slices to release their heat.
  3. Add pineapple juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.
  4. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and a pineapple slice, if desired.

Notes

  • Substitute mezcal for tequila to add a smoky flavor.
  • Add a splash of soda water for a fizzy twist.
  • Use mango juice instead of pineapple for a tropical variation.
  • Infuse tequila with jalapeños overnight for extra heat.
  • Blend with ice for a frozen version.
