- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2–3 jalapeño slices (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 oz agave syrup or simple syrup
- Ice
- Tajín or chili-lime seasoning (for rimming the glass)
- Lime wedges (for garnish)
- Pineapple slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Rim the edge of your glass with a lime wedge and dip it into tajín or chili-lime seasoning.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle a few jalapeño slices to release their heat.
- Add pineapple juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a pineapple slice, if desired.
