Description

S’mores Rice Krispie Treats combine the gooey goodness of marshmallows with crispy cereal, rich chocolate, and graham cracker crunch for a no-bake treat that captures the essence of classic s’mores.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker pieces
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (for mixing in later)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
  3. Add the 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and graham cracker pieces until evenly coated.
  5. Let the mixture cool slightly, then gently fold in the chocolate chips and 1 cup mini marshmallows.
  6. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For extra gooey treats, use more mini marshmallows when mixing.
  • Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to set quickly, but serve at room temperature.
  • Use milk chocolate chips for a more classic s’mores flavor.
