Description

These Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs are a sweet and savory appetizer or main dish that’s incredibly easy to prepare. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a simple weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is flavorful.
  5. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir it into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Stir before serving and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
