- 2 lbs frozen meatballs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is flavorful.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir it into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving.
- Stir before serving and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen.
- Adjust honey or soy sauce to suit your preferred sweetness or saltiness.
- Great served over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
