Description

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs are tender, flavorful meatballs coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for an easy appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 lbs frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, onion powder, and black pepper.
  2. Place frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until heated through and sauce is thickened.
  5. Stir before serving and garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen if preferred.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
