Description

This easy slow cooker boneless turkey breast recipe is juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It’s perfect for a smaller holiday meal or an easy weeknight dinner. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep, the crockpot does all the work for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 lb) boneless skinless turkey breast

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 small onion, quartered

  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed

  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme), optional for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Prep the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil or melted butter.

  2. Season: Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary in a small bowl. Rub the seasoning mix all over the turkey breast.

  3. Add to slow cooker: Place the onion, garlic, and optional fresh herbs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour in the chicken broth.

  4. Cook: Place the turkey breast on top. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  5. Optional – Brown the top: For a crispier skin or crust, transfer the turkey to a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes.

  6. Rest and slice: Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with pan juices or your favorite gravy.

Notes

  • You can use bone-in turkey breast too – just adjust cooking time slightly.

  • Leftovers make great sandwiches or salads.

  • For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the broth.
