This School Breakfast Pizza brings back those nostalgic cafeteria mornings! A soft crust topped with creamy sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and breakfast sausage. It’s easy to make and perfect for meal prep or feeding a crowd.
Ingredients
-
1 refrigerated pizza crust (or homemade if preferred)
-
1 cup breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
4 large eggs
-
1/4 cup milk
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
1 cup prepared sausage gravy (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
-
Roll out the pizza dough onto the pan and pre-bake for 6–8 minutes until lightly golden.
-
Scramble the eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
-
Assemble the pizza: Spread sausage gravy evenly over the pre-baked crust. Layer with scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, and both cheeses.
-
Bake for another 8–10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
-
You can use crescent roll dough for a flakier crust.
-
Try swapping sausage for bacon or adding veggies like bell peppers or onions.
-
Great for freezing! Cool completely, wrap slices individually, and freeze for up to 2 months.
