- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
- Return the sausage to the skillet and mix well with the cabbage.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
