Description

Classic Rice Krispie Treats are chewy, buttery, and filled with gooey marshmallow goodness. They’re an easy no-bake dessert perfect for kids and adults alike.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows (about 4 cups)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch pan with butter or nonstick spray and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract if using.
  5. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and quickly stir to coat evenly.
  6. Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
  7. Let cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares and serving.
