Festive and colorful Red, White, and Blue Rice Krispie Treats perfect for patriotic holidays like the Fourth of July or Memorial Day.

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for drizzle)
- Sprinkles (red, white, and blue, optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch pan and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over low heat. Add 1/3 of the marshmallows and stir until melted. Add red food coloring to achieve desired hue. Mix in 2 cups of Rice Krispies. Press into the prepared pan evenly as the first layer.
- Repeat the process for the white layer: melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add 1/3 of marshmallows, melt completely, and stir in 2 cups of cereal. Press gently over the red layer.
- Repeat once more for the blue layer using the remaining butter, marshmallows, blue food coloring, and Rice Krispies. Press on top of the white layer.
- Let cool completely at room temperature, then slice into squares.
- Optional: melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top, then add sprinkles for extra decoration.
Notes
- Use parchment paper to press the layers evenly without sticking.
- Add more food coloring for more vibrant layers.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
