Description

Red Velvet Cheesecake Trifle is a stunning layered dessert made with rich red velvet cake, creamy cheesecake filling, and whipped topping. It’s perfect for holidays, parties, or any time you want an impressive no-fuss treat.

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for thinning cheesecake mixture)

Instructions

  1. Prepare red velvet cake according to package instructions. Allow to cool completely, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined. If too thick, add milk to thin slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the red velvet cake cubes, followed by half of the cheesecake mixture. Repeat the layers.
  6. Top with additional whipped cream or crumbled cake pieces if desired.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
