Description

A refreshing and quick mango-flavored iced tea perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cup mango puree (fresh or canned)
  • 23 tablespoons sugar or sweetener, to taste
  • 2 cups cold water or ice cubes
  • Lemon slices or mint for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat, add tea bags, steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  4. Allow tea to cool slightly, then mix in mango puree.
  5. Pour into a pitcher and add 2 cups cold water or ice cubes.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices or mint, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness based on the sweetness of the mango.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the mango puree before mixing.
  • You can substitute green tea for black tea for a lighter taste.
