Description
A refreshing and quick mango-flavored iced tea perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cup mango puree (fresh or canned)
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar or sweetener, to taste
- 2 cups cold water or ice cubes
- Lemon slices or mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups water to a boil.
- Remove from heat, add tea bags, steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
- Allow tea to cool slightly, then mix in mango puree.
- Pour into a pitcher and add 2 cups cold water or ice cubes.
- Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices or mint, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness based on the sweetness of the mango.
- For a smoother texture, strain the mango puree before mixing.
- You can substitute green tea for black tea for a lighter taste.
- Add a splash of lime juice for extra tang.
