Description

A quick and flavorful garlic butter chicken recipe perfect for busy weeknights. Juicy chicken breasts are seared and smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter over the chicken, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Double the garlic butter sauce for extra richness.
