Description
These homemade pizza rolls are crispy on the outside, cheesy and saucy on the inside. Perfect for game day, after-school snacks, or whenever you’re craving something delicious and easy. Made with simple ingredients and ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
-
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
-
1/2 cup pizza sauce
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped regular pepperoni
-
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
-
1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
-
Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
-
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
-
Spread about 1 tsp of pizza sauce on each triangle, staying away from the edges.
-
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
-
Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, just like a crescent roll.
-
Place on the baking sheet, point-side down.
-
(Optional) Brush the tops with a beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
-
Let cool for a couple minutes before serving. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping!
Notes
-
Swap pepperoni for mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked sausage.
-
These freeze well—bake, cool, and freeze in a single layer. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
-
Great with ranch or garlic butter dip!
