- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat sauce, half the pepperoni, and half the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and remaining pepperoni slices.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

- You can substitute ground beef with Italian sausage for extra flavor.
- Add other pizza toppings like mushrooms or olives if desired.
