Description
This Pineapple Salsa is a bright, sweet-and-savory salsa with fresh pineapple, crisp veggies, and a touch of heat from jalapeño. Perfect with chips, tacos, grilled meats, or seafood!

- 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Dice the pineapple, red bell pepper, and red onion into small, even pieces.
- Finely chop the jalapeño and cilantro.
- In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients. Add lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Notes
- Add diced mango for extra tropical flavor.
- Mix in diced avocado for creaminess.
- Use green onions instead of red onion if preferred.
- Add a pinch of chili powder for more heat.
