Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.
  9. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
