Description

A simple and healthy side dish, oven roasted asparagus is tender, slightly crispy, and full of flavor. Perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the asparagus and trim off the woody ends.
  3. Place the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic if using.
  6. Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and lightly browned.
  7. Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice before serving, if desired.
