- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli recommended)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add pasta and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cover.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in butter and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes to thicken.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Can be made with other ground meats like turkey or chicken.
