Description
This One Pan Fettuccine Alfredo is creamy, comforting, and ready in just 30 minutes! Everything cooks in a single pan—including the pasta—making cleanup a breeze. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner with classic Italian flavors.
Ingredients
-
12 oz fettuccine pasta, uncooked
-
4 cups whole milk
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
Salt, to taste
-
Black pepper, to taste
-
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
In a large skillet or deep sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
-
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
-
Pour in the milk and heavy cream, then bring to a gentle simmer.
-
Add the fettuccine pasta, stirring to coat it in the liquid.
-
Cook uncovered for about 15–18 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
-
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
-
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
-
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
-
You can add cooked chicken, shrimp, or broccoli to make it a full meal.
-
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor—pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as well.
-
If the sauce gets too thick, stir in a splash of milk to loosen it up.
