Description

This One Pan Fettuccine Alfredo is creamy, comforting, and ready in just 30 minutes! Everything cooks in a single pan—including the pasta—making cleanup a breeze. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner with classic Italian flavors.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta, uncooked

  • 4 cups whole milk

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or deep sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, then bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Add the fettuccine pasta, stirring to coat it in the liquid.

  5. Cook uncovered for about 15–18 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.

  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.


Notes

  • You can add cooked chicken, shrimp, or broccoli to make it a full meal.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor—pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as well.

  • If the sauce gets too thick, stir in a splash of milk to loosen it up.
