Description

Flavorful shrimp burritos seasoned with Old Bay, wrapped in warm tortillas with fresh vegetables, cheese, and creamy sauce—perfect for a quick and zesty meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. Warm tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sour cream with lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Lay tortillas flat. Evenly distribute shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and avocado slices.
  6. Top with cooked shrimp, then drizzle lime crema over fillings.
  7. Fold in sides of each tortilla, then roll up burrito-style.
  8. Optional: toast burritos seam-side down in skillet for 1–2 minutes to seal.
  9. Slice in half and serve immediately with lime wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Use corn tortillas or gluten‑free wraps to make it gluten‑free.
  • For extra heat, add sliced jalapeño or hot sauce.
  • Make-ahead tip: prep shrimp and veggies in advance, then assemble later.
  • Customize with black beans or rice for a heartier burrito.
  • Leftover burritos can be wrapped in foil and reheated in oven or skillet.
