Description

Rich, creamy homemade ice cream made without an ice cream maker! Just a few simple ingredients and your favorite mix-ins create a dreamy frozen treat perfect for summer days or anytime you crave a sweet, customizable scoop.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (or other flavorings)
  • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)
  • 12 cups mix-ins of choice: chocolate chips, cookie crumbs, chopped nuts, fruit, caramel swirls, candy pieces, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt if using.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until fully combined and smooth, being careful not to deflate it.
  4. Fold in desired mix-ins.
  5. Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or until firm.
  7. Scoop and serve straight from the freezer!

Notes
