- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cornstarch

- 1 1/2 cups M&M candies (regular or mini), divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in most of the M&M candies, reserving some for topping.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a cookie scoop or spoon, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
- Press a few reserved M&Ms on top of each dough ball for a colorful finish.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but centers are still soft.
- Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
