Description

Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavorful chicken dish made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and parmesan cheese. Perfect for romantic dinners or impressing guests, it’s known for being irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil), chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
  • Can be made with chicken thighs instead of breasts for more flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
