A flavorful and healthy marinated salmon dish infused with garlic, fresh herbs, and olive oil, perfect for grilling or baking.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, dill, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Preheat grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on the grill or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Grill or bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, reserve a tablespoon of marinade before adding to raw salmon and drizzle on cooked salmon before serving.
- You can substitute dried herbs if fresh herbs are not available.
- This recipe pairs well with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
