Description

This Maple Mustard Salmon recipe features tender salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and tangy maple-mustard sauce. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for a healthy, flavorful dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Brush the maple mustard mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Optional: Broil for the last 2 minutes for a slightly caramelized top.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
  • Use wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and nutrition.
