Description

A flavorful and easy salmon dish glazed with a sweet and tangy maple mustard sauce, perfect for a healthy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the maple mustard sauce over the salmon, coating each fillet evenly.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve warm with fresh lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Use fresh wild-caught salmon for the best taste and nutrition.
  • This recipe pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
