Description

A simple, no-fuss Lazy Lasagna Casserole packed with cheesy, meaty goodness, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir marinara sauce into the cooked beef and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or sausage.
  • Use store-bought marinara or homemade sauce based on preference.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Double the recipe for a crowd or to freeze for later.
