2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar
-
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix together melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt to make the crust. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.

While the crust is baking, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans.
-
Pour the pecan filling over the hot crust as soon as it comes out of the oven.
-
Return to the oven and bake for another 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set.
-
Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Chill in the fridge for clean slices.

You can use dark corn syrup for a deeper flavor.
