- 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Place the patties in the basket in a single layer without overlapping.
- Cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove burgers from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve on whole wheat buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
