Description

Juicy and flavorful air fryer turkey burgers that are healthy, easy to make, and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
  5. Place the patties in the basket in a single layer without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove burgers from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve on whole wheat buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.

  • Do not overmix the turkey mixture to keep the burgers tender.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
