Description

Italian Pinwheels are flavorful bite-sized appetizers made with deli meats, cheese, and veggies rolled up in a tortilla. Perfect for parties or quick snacks.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 slices of salami
  • 8 slices of pepperoni
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup banana peppers, drained
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with Italian seasoning.
  2. Lay out a tortilla and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over it.
  3. Layer 2 slices each of salami, pepperoni, and ham on top of the tortilla.
  4. Add a slice of provolone cheese, followed by roasted red peppers, banana peppers, and a few spinach leaves.
  5. Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other to form a log.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and serve.

Notes

  • Use flavored tortillas like spinach or sun-dried tomato for extra taste.
  • Secure with toothpicks if serving at a party.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
