Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Do this in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cast iron skillet for best searing results.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure a good crust on the steak bites.
- You can substitute sirloin with ribeye or New York strip if preferred.
