- 1–2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like oat or almond milk)
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine strawberries and sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth to create a purée.
- Optional: Strain the purée to remove seeds.
- In a serving glass, add 2-3 tablespoons of the strawberry purée.
- Fill the glass halfway with ice, then pour in your milk of choice until the glass is about three-quarters full.
- In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
- Slowly pour the matcha over the back of a spoon into the glass to form a layered effect.
- Stir gently before drinking if preferred.
