Description

These Hot Honey Garlic Flatbread Pizzas are the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. With a crispy flatbread base, gooey melted cheese, garlicky sauce, and a drizzle of spicy honey, they’re a quick and easy dinner or appetizer that’s ready in under 30 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads (naan or pita work great)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions

  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

  • 1/2 cup cooked and shredded chicken (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Place flatbreads on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.

  • In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with pizza sauce. Spread evenly over each flatbread.

  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on both flatbreads.

  • Add red pepper flakes, red onions, jalapeños, and chicken if using.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crispy.

  • Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with hot honey.

 

  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Slice and serve warm.


Notes

  • You can use store-bought hot honey or make your own by mixing honey with a bit of chili flakes or hot sauce.

  • For a vegetarian version, skip the chicken.

  • Add other toppings like roasted peppers, mushrooms, or arugula for variety.
