Description

Honeycrisp Apple Broccoli Salad is a fresh, crunchy, and slightly sweet salad made with crisp apples, raw broccoli, and a creamy dressing, perfect as a side dish for picnics or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans or sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, diced apple, red onion, shredded carrots, cranberries, and pecans or sunflower seeds.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until everything is well coated.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
