Description
A naturally sweetened peach jam made with fresh peaches and honey, perfect for spreading on toast or adding to desserts.

- 4 cups peeled and chopped fresh peaches (about 8 medium peaches)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 package (1.75 oz) low- or no-sugar needed pectin
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Peel and chop the peaches, then measure 4 cups.
- Place peaches, lemon juice, water, and cinnamon (if using) in a large saucepan.
- Stir in the pectin and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, add the honey and return to a full boil, then boil hard for 1-2 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
- Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
- Wipe rims, apply lids, and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
- Remove jars and let cool for 24 hours. Check seals before storing.
Notes
- This recipe works best with ripe, flavorful peaches.
- You can adjust the amount of honey to taste, but less may affect the set.
- Store opened jam in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
