Description

Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a creamy, sweet, and savory side dish made with corn, butter, honey, and cream cheese — all cooked together in one skillet. It’s a fast, no-fuss recipe that comes together in under 15 minutes and pairs perfectly with just about any meal, from BBQ to roast chicken.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen corn (or fresh corn, cut off the cob)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, cubed

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: pinch of paprika or chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat the skillet:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and honey together until bubbly.

  • Add the corn:
Stir in the corn and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and lightly golden in spots.

  • Add the cream cheese:
Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese. Cook until melted and creamy, stirring to coat all the corn.

  • Season and serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika or fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use canned corn (drained) in a pinch.

  • For extra flavor, stir in a pinch of garlic powder or a handful of shredded cheese.

  • Makes a great holiday or weeknight side dish!
