Description

A refreshing and tangy homemade strawberry lemonade made with fresh strawberries, lemons, and just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for hot summer days or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Lemon slices and strawberry halves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds.
  3. Add lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir to combine.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • Use honey or maple syrup as a natural sweetener alternative.
  • For a sparkling version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
  • Freeze leftover lemonade into popsicle molds for a frozen treat.
