- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add lime juice and salt, and mix well.
- Stir in diced onion, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic.
- If desired, add a pinch of cayenne pepper for some heat.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Serve immediately or cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use ripe avocados for the best texture and flavor.
- For a chunkier guacamole, mash the avocados less.
- Cover with plastic wrap touching the surface to prevent browning.
