- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir fry for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in green onions and remove from heat.
- Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- Use any combination of vegetables you have on hand like snap peas or zucchini.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
