Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Once beef is cooked, add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are tender.
- Uncover, add soy sauce and red pepper flakes if using, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.

- You can use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner alternative to beef.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
- Add a splash of balsamic vinegar for a tangy finish.
