Description

Grilled salmon fillets brushed with a zesty garlic lime butter sauce, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in lime juice and zest. Remove from heat.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  6. Brush the salmon with the garlic lime butter during the last minute of grilling.
  7. Remove from the grill and drizzle with remaining garlic lime butter. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute lemon for lime for a different citrus flavor.
  • Grilling time may vary depending on thickness of the fillets.
  • Use a fish spatula for easy flipping and removal from the grill.
