Grilled salmon fillets brushed with a zesty garlic lime butter sauce, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in lime juice and zest. Remove from heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
- Brush the salmon with the garlic lime butter during the last minute of grilling.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with remaining garlic lime butter. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute lemon for lime for a different citrus flavor.
- Grilling time may vary depending on thickness of the fillets.
- Use a fish spatula for easy flipping and removal from the grill.
